50 might've moved on to bigger and weirder feuds, but Ja Rule isn't ready to let it go. In his upcoming memoir, the former Murder Inc. MC claims that he once whooped the G-Unit leader with a crutch and a baseball bat.
According to the rapper's book Unruly, his crew and 50's attempted to make peace back in 2000 in Atlanta, which was at the height of their feud over snitching accusations. But that peace treaty didn't end—or even start—well.
“50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger,” Ja Rule writes in his book. "Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut.”
Somehow, it manages to get weirder from there. "I hit him with the crutch. We proceeded to whip his ass. I was putting in my work. 50 was crunched in the corner. I slammed the big Tannoy speaker down on him.”
Curtis Jackson has yet to weigh in on the Unruly claim, but either way, this is a ridiculous story. And even if Ja Rule made it up, you gotta give him credit for crafting a tale more entertaining than 90% of his music catalog.
