In a new cover story for The FaderLana Del Rey offers her thoughts on modern feminism, rejecting those beliefs in favor of a more other-worldly outlook on life. 

"For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept," she said. “I’m more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what’s going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities. Whenever people bring up feminism, I’m like, god. I’m just not really that interested.”

Ok, sure. But she does expand a bit: “My idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants," which explains why her videos depict so much choking. "I like a little hardcore love," she admitted.

Still, we're left wondering about these intergalatic possibilities. Is Lana Del Rey's music the preferred pop of alien life forms? We sure hope so.
