Is EDM's next big star Axl Rose?

Probably not, but the Gun N' Roses frontman has confirmed not one, but two new GN'R albums are in the works, including a Chinese Democracy remix album. We have no idea what that entails but it's safe to say we're VERY curious.

In the newest issue of Revolver, Axl opens up about the band's recent recording activity.

“We recorded a lot of things before Chinese was out,” Rose said. “We’ve worked more on some of those things and we’ve written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of Chinese. That’s already recorded. And then we have a remix album made of the songs from Chinese. That’s been done for a while, too. But after Vegas [the band's upcoming residency], we’re going to start looking very seriously at what we’re doing in that regard.”

We'll just have to wait and see if the follow-up to Chinese Democracy takes as long as Chinese Democracy to see the light of day.
