Spoon Lose Sleep Over New Single "Rent I Pay"
Beloved indie-rock band Spoon are returning later this summer with their eighth studio album They Want My Soul and today they shared the first single, "Rent I Pay." Longtime fans of the band will appreciate the continued use of charging, angly guitars with jangly rhythms, as lead Spooner Britt Daniels confessing that he's losing sleep, paying rent and hanging out with his brother. It's not the deepest Spoon song you'll ever hear, but the band's been dormant over the last four years, so any new Spoon is a good thing.
They Want My Soul is due out August 5. Check out the new track above.
