Despite Mandatory Fun's monstrous, grammatically-inclined and foil-sporting success, the parody album from "Weird Al" Yankovic didn't have enough gusto to beat the self-titled debut from the latest lads to throw Australia into a tailspin.

5 Seconds Of Summer have officially unseated Al's latest from the top of the charts and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling nearly 259,000 copies in its first week.

Given the anticipation for the record that promised us "She Looks So Perfect" and inspired a slew of some of the steamiest fan fic we've ever read, we're totally not surprised, though it was rad to see Al get some much-deserved attention and praise before they came along!

On top of the chart-topping news, 5SOS have also announced that they'll be heading out on their first headlining American tour, but relax, fans in the good ol' US of A: those big time dates won't be happening until the summer of 2015. In the meantime, you can still catch 5SOS on tour with boy band brethren One Direction if your pop lovin' heart can handle it.
