What happens when you get a bunch of mega-star pop-punk acts together at the same awards show? Collaborations, that's what.
All Time Low, Yellowcard and New Found Glory hit the same stage at last night's Alternative Press Music Awards in Cleveland to perform a medley of some of their biggest hits, melding "Dear Maria, Count Me In," "Lights and Sounds" and "All Downhill From Here" into one 7-minute-long extravaganza. Check out the video from the show above!
The performance starts with Mayday Parade introducing All Time Low to the enormous crowd–and ATL kicking things off with "Dear Maria" before unexpectedly launching into "Lights and Sounds" after the first verse. Yellowcard vocalist Ryan Key gets through almost the entire song before New Found Glory frontman Jordan Pundik shows up to belt out "Downhill."
The APMAs were hosted by blink-182's Mark Hoppus, and included performances by Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, A Day To Remember, the Misfits and more. Another special moment was Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace presenting an Icon Award to Joan Jett, and recalling an awesome memory that the two frontwomen shared on Warped Tour in 2006. The footage from that speech is below.
