Last week's episode ended with Big Freedia having to let go of Steph, one of the Shake Team's original dancers, and fellow dancer Tootie's best friend. To top it off, the team was rehearsing for a big trip to L.A. for a video shoot and major performance.

Excited and nervous for what's to come, Team Freedia arrives in L.A. for one of the most important weeks of their professional lives...

Despite the team's excitement, Tootie still misses former Freedia dancer Steph...

The next day Freedia, along with Creative Director Wilberto and managers Melvin and Renee, meet with Jon Jon, the director hired to shoot Big Freedia's "Explode" video that week...

Wilberto is not impressed and thinks Jon Jon is in over his head...

Jon Jon assures the team it will all work out...

Freedia seems to have faith in Jon Jon, but perhaps for the wrong reasons....

Later at rehearsal for their major L.A. show, the Team Freedia dancers are a bit frustrated with Wilberto constantly changing up the routines they've already learned...

Tootie is still missing Steph, and is NOT here for the new dancer Tamika...

Despite a shaky start, the rehearsal for the L.A. show ends on a high note with the whole team getting much-needed boost of energy...

The video shoot for "Explode" is the next day...

Maybe it was all the excitement, but Freedia and her dancers end up running an hour late to their own music video shoot...

Once they arrive to set, the dancers are shocked to learn they have three costume changes despite not being told to bring any extra outfits...

Despite a few setbacks, Freedia is ready to turn UP for the "Explode" video shoot...

The "Explode" video shoot is a success for Team Freedia!

Freedia and the dancers head to one final rehearsal for the major performance and debut of their new stage show, and it does NOT go smoothly...

Once again Wilberto has to change some routines to fit the new stage, but Tootie is done holding her tongue and begins a war of words with Creative Director. Freedia can't believe what's happening...

After Wilberto storms off, Freedia has had just about enough of all the attitude and lays down the law...

The next day Freedia decides to promote the L.A. show and upcoming album launch by hiring a traditional New Orleans second line brass band to march with Team Freedia down Venice Beach in California...

At the mini parade, Tootie and Freedia have a chat about what went down at the rehearsal the night before and make up...

It's time for Team Freedia's huge L.A. performance where they're debuting an all-new stage show created by Wilberto for Freedia's upcoming fall tour...

The all-new stage show is a huge hit with the audience in L.A. proving to Freedia and the team that all their struggles, setbacks and hard work were not in vain.

Overwhelmed by the support of her team and fans, Freedia vows to always rep for New Orleans by pushing further in her career and for the Bounce music culture – Knowing Miss Vera is proudly looking down and smiling!
