Kendrick Lamar can do no wrong, even when he's wearing a goofy hat that looks like he swiped it from the tundra while trying his hand at Slim Shady karaoke.
The m.A.A.d city rapper stopped by the XXL office not too long ago, and the mag recently released a video of Kendrick picking up a mic and singing along with Eminem's "My Name Is," Jay Z's "Big Pimpin'" and 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" and "In Da Club." He basically recited every rap karaoke single that came from the TRL age, though it paled in comparison to Kendrick onstage and in his element. Either way, karaoke is one of the best kinds of guilty pleasures, and this clip of Kendrick flying through some favorite verses is pretty delightful.
The occasion for the video? XXL recently included Kendrick as one of their most recent Today in Hip-Hop bulletins, as July 2 marked the anniversary of the drop of his adored sophomore release, Section.80.
