The world fell for Kimbra the second she joined forces with Gotye for 2011's "Somebody That I Used To Know," and the singer from New Zealand has been steadily building an international fan base all her own ever since. The Golden Echo, her sophomore full-length, is getting ready for the drop on 8/18, and the tracks she's been releasing in the weeks leading up to it have embraced some of our favorite sounds of decades past.

"90s Music" may be all about beats Missy Elliot would've signed of on (and features both Mark Foster of Foster the People and Muse's Matt Bellamy), but "Miracle" puts a brand new spin on disco with an explosion of grooving bass, bright breakdowns, vibrant strings and sunny vocals. She takes the dance floor vibes of the '70s and dresses them up in a way that sounds just as refreshing as you'd expect from a 2014 pop staple. If the rest of The Golden Echo's got half the energy of "Miracle," we're in for one varied, vivacious record. We can't wait!
