UPDATE (7/22): It looks like Where We Are is going to be breaking records for One Direction long after the tour ends! More details have emerged for their latest concert flick: it was filmed during the Italian part of the 69-date tour at Milan's San Siro Stadium, and it'll be shown over a whopping 10,000 screenings in 3,000 theaters in 50+ territories, making Where We Are the largest release of its kind. That's a lot of fans screaming "MARRY ME NIALLLLLLLLL" in different languages, but hey, the guys are used to that!

Original Story: So, we're not quite at the point where a One Direction fan fic-inspired movie is in the works (despite the lucrative book deals that it brings about), but thankfully the guys will be seeing the big screen (again!) this fall with a brand new concert special inspired by their current international jaunt.

Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn and Louis announced that the Where We Are Tour will be receiving the cinematic treatment and filmed for a concert flick. Where We Are will see theaters this October for one weekend only, October 11 and 12, and tickets go on sale July 28. (You read that correctly: they're going to be available for purchase a whopping 10 weeks before the big two-day event.)

The announcement above is super brief, but it seems like more details will make their way to 1D's site and socials in the coming weeks. Get that popcorn ready, Directioners!
