Becky G, "Shower"

Teenage pop star Becky G has hit bubblegum pop gold with this ultra-catchy tune some are calling 2014's "Call Me Maybe." The track jumped 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 to No. 21 this week, and it looks primed to rise even higher.

2 / 16

Charli XCX, "Boom Clap"

Singing the hook on Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," Charli has already partially snagged what many have decided is the song of the summer. But we think her solo hit, currently at No. 16 on the charts, has the potential to give the British songbird the one-two, summer-anthem punch.

3 / 16

Usher, "She Came to Give It to You" ft. Nicki Minaj

UsherNicki and Pharrell. If this Bee Gees-inspired stomper doesn't scream modern-day summer jam to you, what does?

4 / 16

KONGOS, "Come With Me Now"

Summer requires a grungy rock hit, and we think the South African alt rockers have got it on lock it with their accordion-tinged stomper, a Top 40 hit on the Hot 100.

5 / 16

Modern Baseball, “Your Graduation”

Philadelphia emo-punk outfit Modern Baseball have had their best year ever with their sophomore LP You're Gonna Miss It All jumping into the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 97. "Your Graduation" has been blasting out our car speakers since its premiere, and we think it's time for the rest of the world to tune in, too.

6 / 16

Fifth Harmony, "BO$$"

Fifth Harmony earned their highest-charting single yet with female empowerment anthem "BO$$" debuting at No. 43 on the Hot 100. It's been awhile since we've seen a girl group in the upper-half of the ranking, so here's hoping the girls can climb even higher.

7 / 16

Tiesto, "Wasted" ft. Matthew Koma

Rising to No. 49 on the Hot 100 this week, "Wasted" is the Dutch DJ's biggest hit with this super-catchy ode to revealing your feelings while super drunk. The track is packed with beat drops while newcomer Matthew Koma nails the addictive hook.

And in case you haven't seen the sexy throwback video yet, watch it now and you'll see why we're calling it one of the year's standout visuals.

8 / 16

Belinda, "I Love You... Te Quiero" ft. Pitbull

It's been a minute since we had a hot Latin-pop crossover, and the Mexican pop princess' collaboration with Mr. 305 is the sweaty club banger we've certainly been blasting from the jump. Its flapper-inspired video (which has raked in over a million views) makes us love the track even more.

9 / 16

5 Seconds of Summer, "Amnesia"

5 Seconds of Summer's pop-rock smash "She Looks So Perfect" had its moment this season, and now everyone's feeling the boys' heartwrenching new track. Hitting No. 16, "Amnesia" actually outcharted "She Looks So Perfect" by eight Hot 100 slots. We imagine this song will soar when you let it ring out on a late summer night.

Don't forget: Sometimes the song of the summer isn't the one you blast out of your car, but the mellow track you can play all night that won't wake up your parents or roommates.

10 / 16

Kiesza, "Hideaway"

This Canadian singer-songwriter is one to watch. Her '90s dance-inspired debut single is already rising on Top 40 radio and girl just snagged a VMA nomination.

11 / 16

Real Friends, "I Don't Love You Anymore"

We've been looking forward to Real Friends' debut album all summer, and in the meantime, we've had their uber-catchy standout "I Don't Love You Anymore” stuck in our heads. Look for the Chicago pop-punk quintet to shake up the charts when their Maybe This Place Is The Same and We’re Just Changing drops on July 22, which will hopefully spring the single onto the Alternative charts and beyond.

12 / 16

Demi Lovato, "Really Don't Care" ft. Cher Lloyd

Following "Heart Attack" and "Neon Lights," the former Disney star's been on a hit roll with the singles off Demi. Her latest release, rising up the charts at No. 38 this week, comes with a feel-good video filmed at Los Angeles' Pride Parade complete with a cast of badass drag queens.

13 / 16

f(x), "Red Light"

Ever since the summer of "Gangnam Style," we've been yearning for another K-pop track to soundtrack the season. We've been playing the girl group's synth-pop banger since its early-July premiere and think it could definitely get any pool party or BBQ bumpin'.

14 / 16

Tinashe, "2 On" ft. ScHoolBoy Q

Played "Fancy" a little too much? Give a spin to this R&B songbird's "2 On," boasting a phat bass line, hip-hop chants and a deliciously explicit bridge from ScHoolboy Q. The track hit No. 27 on the Hot 100 this week and is a Top 40 radio smash in the making.

15 / 16

Milky Chance, "Stolen Dance"

The German alt-rock duo's breakout single was a huge hit across Europe, going No. 1 in France, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland and charting high in the UK and Germany. The U.S. invasion is coming with this bouncy track, already a Top 15 hit on Billboard's Hot Rock Songs and Alternative Songs chart.
