Last weekend, American Authors made their British festival debut playing both Reading and Leeds Festivals. The quartet brought their ubiquitous smash "Best Day of My Life" (a Top 15 hit both in America and across the pond) and more feel-good, pop-rock smashes (like banjo jam "Trouble") from their debut LP Oh, What a Life

Fuse caught up with the guys to hear about their incredible weekend.

"It was an amazing experience," bassist Dave Rublin reflects. "Being our first time playing festivals in the UK, the response of the fans was so electric and passionate ... It was a perfect day with perfect music at one of the best festivals in the world. It was a memory we will never forget."

Inspired by their travels, American Authors put a playlist together of the best music they saw at the fest. From headliners Blink-182 and Macklemore to up-and-comers like English indie quartet Peace and "Sweater Weather" singers The Neighbourhood, check out their 15-track playlist below playing exclusively on Fuse.

After that, get to know the AA dudes a little better in this hilarious interview, where we ask the band the most random, hypothetical questions we could think up and learn about their fascination with aliens.
