Kanye's got his Yeezies, with the bright red pair standing out above the rest. Macklemore's got those salmon-colored Jordan monstrosities. Now, Kid Cudi is joining the ranks of rappers who are taking on a side gig as a designer, as it was just announced that he's working on a sneaker collection.

From the looks of it, Cudi's kicks are embracing warmer tones, just like those dreamed up by his colleagues in rhyme before him: the first sneaker from the line, a collaboration with designer Giuseppe Zanotti, is big, bold and red.

Here's hoping that customers don't freak out for Cudi's line the way they did for Yeezies, but we're excited to see what he comes up with. Kid Cudi's sneaker collaboration is set to be released as a component of Zanotti's Spring/Summer collection in 2015.
