In May, Lupe Fiasco premiered an inspiring, fighting anthem against cancer with his new single "Mission." To help spread his message, he's teamed up with fellow Chicagoans Jennifer Hudson and Common on a new mix of the empowering track, titled "Remission."

The collabo looks to inspire those battling the disease, honor those who've survived it and celebrate those who've since passed on. JHud sings on the electrifying chorus, "If I had a dollar for every time they counted me out / And my back was up against the wall / I could have died, but I came out fighting." Meanwhile, the MCs share personal stories.

The Chi-town trio will make the song's live premiere during the Stand Up to Cancer telecast on September 5. Look out for the track to hit digital retailers right after the performance with its proceeds going to the Stand Up to Cancer charity.
