UPDATE (8/14): Jimmy Fallon couldn't even get details about what exactly Taylor Swift will be livestreaming Monday night on Yahoo. Last night on The Tonight Show, the hilarious host tried to coax information out of Swift about her mysterious event, asking flat-out if she was going to "Beyonce an album and just pop it out." She dodged the question and didn't provide it any new info about a forthcoming record and instead said she had patented "the Pegacorn." We don't know, either.

Original Story: Buckle up, Swifties! Taylor has announced a Yahoo! worldwide livestream August 18 at 5pm ET / 2pm PT. That's right, kids. New music is on the way! (Or so we think.)

It started with a series of clues: last week, Swift posted an Instagram video of herself repeatedly pressing an elevator button for the eighteenth floor with the caption, "So, here's your first clue..." She later posted a screenshot of her phone's display, revealing a time: 5:00 P.M with, "Cluuuuue number twooooo..." The final clue was an image of Yahoo!'s search bar. But 'em all together, and what do you get? A livestream!

Taylor tweeted the details of the livestream early Monday morning. No word yet as to what the livestream will entail exactly, but here's hoping that rumored single turns out to be on her setlist, if she's even to play a set at all. Either way, we're in for a treat, and who doesn't like surprises?

The stream will be broadcast from New York City on August 18. Swifties in the area can enter a contest to spend the day with Taylor while it airs. Learn more here.
