Looking for a little inspiration this Monday morning? Look no further than Carrie Underwood's new single "Something in the Water." The first offering from the country-pop star's Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album shows Underwood digging into her gospel side—and coming out with a soaring song that even includes a little "Amazing Grace."

A racing, banjo-led production backs Underwood as she describes looking to a preacher in a difficult time. The Idol champ's belts grow on each verse, as do the inspirational lyrics, climaxing on the bridge with, "Gonna look ahead, no turnin' back / Live every day giving all that I have / Trust in someone bigger than me / Ever since the day I believed!" The track ends with a gospel chorus busting out a rendition of "Amazing Grace" with Carrie's vocals soaring over them.

Oh, lordy, Carrie just took us to church, and we're ready to go back ASAP.

The new track is the first offering from Carrie's upcoming compilation album, which is due out on December 9. Expect Underwood classics ("Before He Cheats," "Cowboy Casanova," "Blown Away") and hopefully a few more new tracks to accompany "Something in the Water."
