She's just being Miley? Well, apparently that doesn't fly in Mexico.

While the titillating star has been able to get away with a lot during her various global quests (lighting up on TV in Amsterdamfondling little people in GermanyTwerkgate in NYC, etc.), Mexico is looking to penalize her for a recent act.

According to Reuters, Mexican state legislature is requesting that the government punish the Bangerz star after one of her backup dancers spanked her with a Mexican flag. It didn't help that the performance was on Mexico's Independence Day, September 16.

Reuters reports Miley or her team could be jailed for 36 hours or be fined up to $1,200. Eek! But don't worry too much, Smilers: Mexican singer Paulina Rubio was only fined $5,000 after she wrapped her naked body in the country's flag, so Miley will probably have a nominal fee here.

Mexico isn't the only country Miley's pissed off recently. She's also currently banned from performing in the Dominican Republic as her Bangerz Tour falls under "acts that go against morals and customs" according to domestic law.
