Now that Everything Will Be Alright In The End is nearing its official debut, Weezer are continuing to drop tracks from the record for those who can't wait for Rivers to rip through his first new chords since 2010.

We've heard "Back To The Shack" and "Cleopatra" so far, but "Lonely Girl" is arguably the song that'll throw Weezer fans into a Blue Album/Pinkerton-era tizzy with its familiar angst over unrequited love and those barreling power chords.

There's something adorably vintage about the quality of "Lonely Girl" with all its talk of shy girls, dancing and wailing over how being "lonely and homely" is such a relatable thing. Does Weezer sound like they could've thrown "Lonely Girl" on the Blue Album twenty years ago? Totally. Does it bridge a gap between the Weezer of yesteryear and the newer stuff? Absolutely.

Everything Will Be Alright In The End is out October 7 (and is one of our most anticipated fall albums). Listen to "Lonely Girl" above now!
