Misery loves company, but positive vibes love it even more—and that's exactly what Taylor Swift's pals are all about on the day of their bestie's record release.
1989 is finally out, and Lorde and Lena Dunham were lightning quick with their praise and track recommendations as soon as the clock struck midnight on October 27. Via their respective Twitter accounts, Lorde and Lena freaked about the songs of 1989, running down their favorites (Lena loves "Out of the Woods;" Lorde is partial to "Style;" both love "Blank Space") before coming to the consensus that every song on 1989 is their new favorite song.
Lorde was first to gush about her partner-in-pop crime, sharing an adorable snapshot of she and Taylor hanging on the beach before explaining why she loves "Style" so much.
OMG 1989 IS OUT WHAT A DAY. so proud of my sista. my favourite is style (and also blank space) (and also all of them) pic.twitter.com/BUlAQaQjTE— Lorde (@lordemusic) October 27, 2014
i first heard style driving down the pacific coast highway and it was EVERYTHING i chair-danced so hard you have no idea #TS1989— Lorde (@lordemusic) October 27, 2014
Lena chimed in shortly thereafter to high-five the "Royals" singer across the internet and express Swifty solidarity. (Not surprised in the least about the fact that she's digging "Out of the Woods," considering her boo, Jack Antonoff of Bleachers/fun., co-wrote the track with Taylor.)
Hope you enjoy October 27th or, as it shall now be called, national Taylor Swift day #TS1989— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) October 27, 2014
My favorite songs on #1989 are This Love, Blank Space, Out of the Woods and also every single song.— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) October 27, 2014
@lordemusic we both just posted beach pics and the same list of favorite songs like members of a cozy cozy cozy-ass cult— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) October 27, 2014
Can "cozy cozy cozy-ass cult" be the new official name for Taylor's fan army? Make it happen, Lena!
