Talk about kicking off the week on a high note! The first track from Gwen Stefani's first solo album in ages dropped last night at midnight, and no surprises here: "Baby Don't Lie" is an immediate earworm and just as catchy a tune as the rest of her solo hits.

The single serves as the first taste of her hugely anticipated solo record and the first No Doubt-less effort from Stefani since 2006's The Sweet Escape, which gave us the dizzying "Wind It Up" and cheerful title track.

"Baby Don't Lie" shows shades of Stefani's solo past, with a familiar "Uh huh!" ("Hollaback Girl," anyone?) arriving at the jump before the dance hall-ready beats sweeps her into a romantic build.

As Diplo's involved with the record and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder is a co-writer on "Baby Don't Lie," the current, EDM-infiltrating pulse of the single makes perfect sense given the talents on deck with Stefani's latest endeavor. (We're getting shades of Ellie Goulding's "Burn" here, too. Not hating it in the slightest.)

Listen to "Baby Don't Lie" above, and stay tuned for info about Gwen's upcoming record!
