Last year, Tamar Braxton told us that "R&B is on the rise because we're not afraid to talk about what's really happening in our personal relationships." The diva keeps that promise on her new single "Let Me Know," featuring Future. The sensual collabo waxes on intimate details a couple needs to share with one another—likely a reason her and husband/Tamar and Vince co-star Vincent Herbert are a Hollywood couple that's stayed together.

Over a beat that samples Aaliyah's "(At Your Best) You Are Love," Toni Braxton's youngest sister pleads for her lover to be honest if he needs extra support. She purrs over the knocking beat, "We've been through so many things / Ups and downs and in-betweens / If you need more love from me / I give you more, just let me know."

Future doesn't get his own verse, but instead handles the repetitive hook in his signature AutoTune crooning. The track hits its climax in the final hook section where Tamar roars with huge diva belts and offers some super-high whistle notes. Mariah, take this a warning: Tamar is not playing when it comes to vocal acrobatics.

"Let Me Know" is the first taste of Tamar's upcoming, currently untitled album. Her last, Love & War, missed No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when Ariana Grande's Yours Truly snatched the top slot from her. Is the singer on track to claim a No. 1? So far, all sounds very good.
