R&B up-and-comer Tinashe has been on everyone's radar lately. The singer's "2 On" is something of a surprise hit, grabbing the attention of Drake and Mike Will Made It. Then Nick Jonas caught wind of her talent and brought her on for his "Jealous" remix. Apparently goth queen Lorde is also a fan, as Tinashe has now contributed a tune to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 soundtrack that the "Royals" singer curated.

Joining Lorde, Kanye West, and a slew of other stars on the compilation, Tinashe has shared her macabre masterpiece, "The Leap."

The tune is heartbreaking, chilling and vulnerable. Tinashe sings, "Lookin’ for a sign, karma’s coming back for us / I was waiting on you, waiting on you," sounding like she's on the verge of tears. Given the notoriously heavy subject matter of Mockingay—don't worry, we won't drop any spoilers—it sounds like Tinashe's new track is a perfect fit.
