After a brief stint touring the U.S. last year and some recent European dates, Gerard Way will return stateside to continue promoting his debut solo LP Hesitant Alien.

The former My Chemical Romance frontman revealed seven North American dates for May. The trek will take Way to Chicago, Detroit, Toronto and see a conclusion at the Boston Calling Festival.

Way has spent the beginning of 2015 overseas playing European dates where fans have been treated to previously unheard tracks like "Don't Try" and "Kid Nothing"—both of which premiered in Paris—and "Cheap Lights," first heard in England.
