After dealing with bassist Paul Gray passing awaydrummer Joey Jordison leaving the band and multiple album delays, Slipknot mounted a major comeback in late 2014 when .5: The Gray Chapter debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The nü-metal favorites will push on with the good times via a just-announced spring tour.

The band's Prepare for Hell Tour kicks off in April and will see the band playing around the America before they hit the European festival circuit in June. They'll bring metalcore veterans Hatebreed for a handful of dates as well.

Slipknot are currently overseas playing throughout Europe and Australia in the months leading up to the tour, so fans can be sure that the seven-piece will be good and ready for this latest trek. And at some point throughout all this touring, frontman Corey Taylor is set to release his debut album as a member of Teenage Time Killer—his supergroup created with Dave GrohlQueens of the Stone Age's Nick Olivieri and Lamb of God's Randy Blythe.
