All Time Low Share New Arena-Ready Single, "Kids In the Dark"
In 2013, All Time Low found themselves returning to their roots, leaving a major label for their first indie, Hopeless Records. Last year they spent time penning songs for other bands, most famously 5 Seconds of Summer. It wasn't until this January that we received new music from ATL, with the mid-tempo single "Something's Gotta Give."
The track was their first from their upcoming album, boasting that classic ATL self-deprecation: "I woke up in a stranger's bed / With pins and needles in my head / And the clock ticking off the wall / I don't even know myself / I wish I could be someone else / But I don't have a clue at all."
The new song "Kids In the Dark" exists in a similar vein, channeling a huge, Fall Out Boy–ish arena rock sound. Listen below, via this All Time Low tweet:
