Sometimes, you gotta give the people what they want.

In the decade since releasing her signature single "1 Thing" in 2005, Ameriie (formerly known as Amerie) has dropped buckets worth of incredible music from her 2009 LP In Love & War to her late-2014 release "Mustang" to "Gotta Work," which was used in Mad Men commercials. But her new single "Out Loud" might get R&B fans hyped up the most as it reunites the chanteuse with her longtime producer Rich Harrison, who worked on her first two albums that featured "1 Thing" and more.

Ameriie's sweet-raspsy vocals are frosted over Harrison's jolting, booming percussion production that recalls some of the duo's best work together. While their past work focused more on throwback sounds, "Out Loud" looks ahead, embellishing the banging beats with fuzzy synths and electronica flourishes.

"Out Loud" is the latest taste of the underrated singer's new music as she looks ahead to release two albums this year. She told Audrey Magazine her plans to release both BILI and and Cymatika Vol. 1 in 2015.

Earlier this year, we wondered if Ameriie was one of the many R&B divas to reignite the charts this years with their impending comebacks. If the music's sounding this strong, we think girl's got nothing to worry about.
