Update (3/26): Rihanna's new jam, "Bitch Better Have My Money," is here! The song follows "FourFiveSeconds" as the second single from her highly anticipated upcoming eighth studio album. RiRi's voice sounds raspier here as she name-checks herself and sings a chorus of "Better have my money / Pay me what you owe me," merging rap and pop streams in a way that would make Beyoncé proud. Listen to the full version of the song below:
Original Story (3/25): Hey, Rihanna...whatcha up to? Seriously. We're dying to know.
Without warning, the pop star posted on her Instagram account what looks like either a new album or single cover. The pic features a previously unseen shot of RiRi with a braille title attached to it. It's captioned with "March 26" along with the mysterious hashtags "#BBHMM" and "#R8," the latter hashtag being the rumored title of Rih's upcoming eighth studio album.
Fans exploded on the Internet thinking "BBHMM" either referred to a new single title or maybe represented a secret way to signal an impending album drop. We're betting on the former, as you'll recall that Rih's "FourFiveSeconds" single cover also featured its title written in braille.
According to Complex, the braille on the cover "seems to translate to 'Bitch Better Have My Money,'" which sounds like a great song title and probably not an album title.
Whatever it is, we'll be watching very closely, stay tuned. While you're waiting for whatever Rih's cooking up, check out everything we know about the record right here.
