De La Soul and Nas joining forces on a track is the stuff rap dreams are made of. Just released today, "God It" is a new song De La recorded with the Queensbridge icon that won't be included on their upcoming album, And the Anonymous Nobody.

"God It" features both Posdnuos and Trugoy delivering their rhymes in a laid-back flow over a funky blend of jazzy horns and a simple drum pattern. Nastradamus provides the song's memorable vocal hook.

“While busy at work, we also like to play," said the group in a statement about the collaboration. "This song is not on the new album, but an indication of good music to come. The song was produced by G_Force and you may recognize our featured guest. We’re still in Atlanta recording and it sounds amazing! We can’t wait to get this new album to you.”

Earlier this month, De La launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the And the Anonymous Nobody project. As of today (April 21), the Long Island trio has secured over $470,000 with 10 more days to go in the campaign, easily passing their $110,000 goal. While no release date has been set yet, the album will feature guest appearances from 2 ChainzDavid ByrneDamon Albarn and Little Dragon.
