Mumford & Sons Still Living in 1930s, Banning Cell Phones from Concert
Acoustic-gone-electric folk-gone-rock suspenders-gone-jeans act Mumford & Sons are about to unveil their wholly unnecessary, surely nap-inducing third LP, Wilder Mind. And for an album release party at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange (wow) in England on April 27, the band's refusing cell phones in the venue.
A message to the Mumford mailing list (are the recipients called "Sons"? "Grandsons"?) says, "As this show is happening pre-album release, the band have requested all mobile phone and recording devices to be prohibited inside the venue."
