With Zayn Malik's departure, life in the One Direction fan department has been pretty lackluster. Sure, the boys are hard at work recording their next (potentially final?) album and touring the world, but Z left a hole in the hearts of teen girls forever. Thankfully resident 20-something and English dreamboat Louis Tomlinson has good news to take our minds off the bad.

Billboard reports that the singer is launching a label an imprint of Simon Cowell's Syco label and yes, he's already signed someone: X Factor UK finalist Jack Walton. Sound familiar?

"This is something I've wanted to do for some time," he told Teen Vogue. "To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling. I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line."
