People may have been talking about Sia's song "Fire Meet Gasoline" after Heidi Klum and Pedro Pascal got hot and heavy in an ad featuring the track. But we're back to obsessing over new single "Big Girls Cry" thanks to a beat-tastic new remix by Bleachers.
The heartfelt torch song now opens with a bit of a chant-like march as the fun. guitarist spices up the track with bongos, trap beats and squiggling, wonky synths. Jack Antonoff ensured the track still packed an emotional punch—particularly pronounced on the chorus—giving it the extra boom that might have been missing on the original production that mostly keeps to piano and percussion.
Sia's latest album 1,000 Forms of Fear may have dropped last summer, but has kept interest high thanks to an incredible run with viral videos (like "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart") and must-see live performances (like at the GRAMMYs and SNL). All without showing her face, mind you.
Remixes will have to tie you over until Sia drops her new album, confirmed to be titled This Is Acting, that the singer is prepping for a late 2015/early 2016 release.
