When your business is so directly made or broken by your attitude—regardless of what your business is—mindset is paramount. Basketball? Ad sales? Acting? No matter.

The NBA's Eastern Conference is well underway, and while I'm not an avid follower of any professional sport, it still downright fascinates to scan the recent Spotify activity of anyone pulling down an average of $4,700,900 annually. Mind you, that's just the average...what would you turn up to on your $500,000 day at the office?

I linked up with six NBA teams who are competing in the 2015 playoffs to find out how select members keep their heads straight when the clock is running on a game that could make or break their careers, and their bank accounts.

In this episode, hear what DeMar DeRozan, Jonas Valanciunas, and Terrence Ross are spinning.

Drake, "Legend"

Well, this is just obvious. Of course I'd want the line "Oh my God, if I die, I'm a legend" tumbling around my brain as I pummeled the competition. Of course, it's even better knowing that Drake is a strong supporter of his hometown's team.

3 / 13

Kendrick Lamar, "Backseat Freestyle"

The track has the energy I'd want to carry onto the court, but I'd have a hard time not thinking about Sherane...

4 / 13

Jay Z, "The Takeover"

Even years later, rap beef just never gets old. I imagine DeMar replacing every jab at Nas and Mobb Deep with the team he faces at any given game.

5 / 13

N.W.A., "Straight Outta Compton"

Slightly odd, given that the team is actually straight outta Toronto, but considering the energy this iconic track carries, it makes sense.

Drake, "6 Man"

Alright, they might not be working the night shift exactly, but they're young and making millions. Doesn't really get more relatable than that.

8 / 13

Drake, "0 to 100"

No, there isn't a harder pump-up song than this. (Not to mention the explicit "Raptors pay my bills" shoutout.)

9 / 13

Drake, "Started from the Bottom"

I see what's happening here. Drake just has a way of lyricizing the ideas and feelings the NBA already shared.

10 / 13

Terrence Ross, No. 31

Kendrick Lamar, "Hood Politics"

The guest leaving K-Dot a voicemail in the begging of this track is the everyman, left-behind former friend of Terrence's picking up the phone again...after he got drafted.

12 / 13

Kendrick Lamar, "King Kunta"

Got the whole world talkin', honestly.

Drake, "Know Yourself"

It's true what they say: It starts from within.

Is there anyone busier than Chance The Rapper these days? Attending fancy State Dinners at the White House with Dad, starring in the best Kit-Kat commercial we’ve ever seen, partying with Beyoncé, and now dancing the night away with the one-and-only Iman! At the KENZO X H&M fashion event Chance rubbed elbows with not only Iman, but with Lupita Nyong’o, Rosario Dawson and Halsey as well. Both Chance and Iman are ambassadors for the KENZO x H&M campaign.
