The Killers are one of the biggest rock bands of the last decade and some change...and they'll be the first to tell you. Frontman Brandon Flowers sat down for an interview with the Independent and, while trying to stay humble, told the publication that his band doesn't get enough credit.

"Whether the people want to accept it or not, we might be the best band in the last long time. I’d go up any night against just about any band that’s come out in the last 15 years," he said.

Flowers continued: "Not that it’s a competition, but I do feel sometimes people don’t have a grasp on what we’ve accomplished and what we’ve acquired."

We wonder how he feels about his solo work! If you haven't heard it, check out "Lonely Town" from the frontman's upcoming sophomore solo release. It's '80s in the best way.
