It's been a long time—too long—but Janet Jackson will soon return to our lives. The pop queen confirmed long-suspected rumors that she'd drop a new album in 2015—her first in seven years.

According to a statement on Janet's website, the as-yet-untitled LP will drop this fall (!!!) via her newly created Rhythm Nation record label. Rhythm Nation will not only see Ms. Janet playing recording artist, but also record executive as the label plans to sign and work with both "new and established artists."

There's no word about a first single or official release date, but the news is certainly exciting for fans who have been waiting for the follow-up to 2008's majorly underrated Discipline album aka a record that made electro-pop cool before it was cool. Various demos have leaked while we awaited Janet's return (including 2010's Pitbull-featuring  "HeartBeat Love," that sounds like it'd be an incredible lead single), but the star only gave one-off soundtrack singles and a Greatest Hits package during.

We're looking forward to having you back, Janet.
