Tom DeLonge broke our hearts earlier this year when he left Blink-182, the legendary pop-punk band he founded more than two decades ago. We later learned Angels & Airwaves would continue on and DeLonge would release a solo album, lead by the atmospheric single "New World." He also announced a book, the futuristic fiction Poet Anderson...Of Nightmares, and today he's teased a song to accompany it. Got all that?

The song, which will appear on a full EP, was shared on Tom's personal Instagram account.

The tune is classic Angels & Airwaves: It's a bit more cinematic than the power pop-punk that made Blink-182 famous, DeLonge's voice stretching notes beyond his iconic nasal tone.
