DMX, aged 44, is heading to the slammer after a family court ruling in Erie County, New York. Billboard notes that the rapper was arrested in late June, right before a Radio City Music Hall appearance. WPIX reported at the time:

An arrest warrant was issued for the rapper by the Erie County Family Court for $400,000 worth of back child support, the [New York County Sheriff’s Office] spokesman said. Another arrest warrant was issued by the city of White Plains for bail jumping; the city of Yonkers is accusing the rapper of being an aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operator; and a criminal complaint out of Newark, N.J., names DMX as a suspect in an April 5 robbery at a gas station in that city, the sheriff’s office said.

DMX has been jailed a number of times, including in late 2005 for driving with a suspended license. In 2010, the Daily Beast counted 13 recorded arrests, "for everything from felony drugs charges, cocaine possession, criminal impersonation, and reckless driving and parole violation."

On a less grim note: In April DMX surprised Coachella with a two-song spot in DJ Snake's set. Afterward he hit up the local Walmart and posed for pics.
