Update 2: The "No Sleeep" music video is here!

Update: The J. Cole-featuring "No Sleeep" is out at last: Listen now below, via 2DOPEBOYZ.

Janet Jackson's long, super long awaited comeback launched a few weeks ago in the form of "No Sleeep," three E's and all. (World tour, too! Heyo!) Great tune, but it hasn't seemed to make its way onto too many radars quite as solidly as Janet's past lead singles did. Now J. Cole's here to give the track a new boost, because a verse from one of the hottest, still most slept-on rappers in the game never hurts. The collaboration turned out so good that this will actually be the official single and the version on Janet's first album in seven years, potentially titled Conversations in a Cafe.

Jermaine gets in a staple "Cole World" shoutout, does the "turn the volume up in the headphones" bit, then launches into a verse about the trials of trying to love someone while out on tour. The vocal layering from Janet make it a true duet, taking away the separate-studios vibe so many genre-crossover singles suffer from.

And Billboard actually confirms that, writing, "Jackson and Cole recorded the new tune in a Los Angeles recording studio two weeks ago, according to sources."
