If the Meek Mill/Drake beef is starting to get a little stale for you (seriously, just drop a damn diss track, Mr. Minaj), how's Vic Mensa vs. Travi$ Scott sound?

It's unclear at this point why the gantlet was thrown down, but in his new "Heir to the Throne" freestyle, Mensa takes some shots at Scott over the instrumentation and beat of the the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Who Shot Ya." The proof? A few bars about halfway through, during which Mensa spits, "Couple rap n---as you done thought that we was crew / Real life n---as was corny, what can I do? / Rich boy rappers get the notion that they tough / You a Cheddar Bob, you better shooting yourself."

That's not all: Mensa also drops in Scott's "straight up!" adlib for good measure, in case you still had questions as to who this was about.

There's not much history here between the Kanye West-affiliated rappers, but last month, Mensa responded on Twitter to a Hot New Hip Hop article that compared one of his new songs to Scott's style, countering, "don't mention me w no funny style n---as."

No response from Scott yet, but it's hard to believe he'll go the Meek route of talking up a response track that still hasn't come days later.
