Halsey's debut album Badlands is right around the corner and we couldn't be more stoked. Her set at Lollapalooza was one for the history books; her sultry "Ghost" music video is burned into our brains. While we await a full record from the singer/songwriter, H has gifted us "Drive," a different sort of song.

The 20-year-old shared the song on Twitter, writing, "Drive is an example of a song on the album that is more unique, less structured, it's uninhibited. I hope you love it."

She's right. It features poignant found sounds, car engines and speak-singing. It's still a slow-moving, sexy and somber song—the very characteristics that tend to drive [wink] Halsey's music, but somehow feels a bit more unraveled.

Listen to it below, then revisit our interview with the singer from earlier this year.
