Yo, so remember that time Miley Cyrus called out Nicki Minaj during a pre-VMAs New York Times interview for starting, in her words, a “pop star war”? Consider more shots fired.

After scoring a win for Best Hip Hop Video at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night for “Anaconda,” Minaj, having finished the usual thank-you-fans part of the speech, turned her attention to VMAs host Cyrus for some choice words.

“Now, back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press,” Minaj said, turning her full glare on. “Miley, what’s good?”

Miley tried to skirt the issue with her reply. “Hey, we’re all in this industry. We all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate [beeped]. Nicki, congratulations.”

But Nicki—without a mic, at this point—still had something to say as the camera panned back to her: she mouthed the B-word again.

Shortly after she left the stage, Nicki laughed it all off on Twitter.
