It's been exactly a year since Madden NFL 15, meaning the premiere football franchise of the video game world is back. And Playstation 3 or 4, Xbox 360 or One, you're gonna be hearing the same wide-ranging soundtrack. "Madden NFL 16 marks the return of the legendary EA Trax soundtrack," EA Sports wrote earlier this month, "recognized as the industry’s foremost music showcase."

The 25-song Spotify Madden playlist runs an hour an 27 minutes and features the WeekndTwenty One PilotsNas, James Bay, Yelawolf, Aloe Blacc and more. You'll also get brand new tracks by LunchMoney Lewis, Fashon, Don Broco, Jimi Charles Moody, Brooke Candy and more.

Stream the playlist below. As of now, Madden NFL 16 has an 87 out of 100 on Metacritic.

While you're listening, ponder whether the infamous Madden curse will strike this year's cover boy, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. NJ.com explained in the spring:

Players who saw their play suffer after appearing on the Madden cover include Brett Favre (featured on the Madden 2009 cover with the Packers, traded to the Jets, limped to a 9-7 finish after an 8-3 start), Michael Vick (Madden 2004, broke his leg in preseason immediately after the game was released), and former Giants running back Peyton Hillis (Madden 2012 cover boy with the Browns after great 2010 season, missed 6 games and fell to 587 yards in 2011).

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was on last year's cover, and while no personal misfortune befell him, Seattle did lose the Super Bowl to Gronkowski's Patriots on one of the worst play calls in NFL history.

There is no known curse on folks just listening to the new Madden soundtrack, so proceed without caution, and #pray4odell.
