Unless you don't care about Blink-182 at all, you've probably heard something about the band's ongoing drama. Cofounder and creator of the legendary "yeee-ad" verse in "I Miss You" Tom DeLonge has left the group to be replaced by Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba. We learned that he is kind of, sort of joining the band indefinitely and that Fake-182 would begin recording ASAP.

Today Mark Hoppus has confirmed that they are in the studio. As in, right now. This second, the guys are recording new Blink.

What's even more shocking is that we have...Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz to thank for the news?

While hosting a Beats 1 program this afternoon, Wentz tweeted at Hoppus asking for new music to play. Mark responded with the four sweetest words in the English language: "In the studio today." That's enough for us! Now, why not check out the new Panic! at the Disco tune, "Death of a Bachelor," that Pete dropped during the same DJ set? Thank you, FOB boy!
