Chris Brown is gearing up to release his new album Royalty this fall and the R&B-pop star has released a funky, kiss-off track ahead to further hype it up.

Opening with a slick bass lick, "Zero" embraces a disco sound with dreamy synths and funky guitar strums before heading into the Daft Punk-inspired, vocoder hook. The song is a clever kiss-off track with Chris belting on the chorus, "Ask how many nights I've been thinking of you? / Zero! Zero / Gave 100 percent, but all I got from you? / Zero! Zero."

The funk sound is a good look for Breezy with "Zero" marking what is probably his smoothest single since "Fine China."

"Zero" will join the bass-heavy single "Liquor," which hit No. 87 on the Billboard Hot 100 so far, on Chris' forthcoming Royalty, named after his daughter (aww!).
