When someone creates an album trilogy called Man on the Moon and a prequel called Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, it's a decent bet that said someone enjoys Star WarsKid Cudi is the fellow we're talking about, and his here-and-there experience as an actor led him to the audition room for one of the upcoming Star Wars films.

Out of the blue, a fan tweeted to Kid Cudi, "You really should have a role in a Star Wars film. I can picture it so perfectly." He responded:

Who's to say it's over, though? Episode VII: The Force Awakens is coming this December, but it'll be followed by Episode VIII, Episode IX and at least three spinoff films. (So far we know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and a Han Solo origin story. Annnnd now we're drooling again.) You've got more chances, man! And your fellow super-fan Grimes should follow suit.

Cudi—also known, originally by his mother, as Scott Mescudi—has appeared in How to Make It in America, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Need for Speed, the Entourage movie and the upcoming James White. Billboard pointed out that the guy's been vocal about his love for Star Wars before:
