Nick Jonas' follow-up to last year's self-titled affair is on its way.

The former Jonas Brother already released lead single "Levels" late last month, and now Jonas is revealing the release timeframe for the new record itself: February or March of next year. Probably.

"We have not picked a date officially yet, but we have a sense,” Jonas told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s going to be at some point early next year, so probably the end of February or early March.”

As for what the album will sound like? Look to "Levels" as a nice little primer. "‘Levels’ is a good introduction to the next step,” he said. “I think [the album will] go even a bit further with some more soul and R&B sounds, even hip hop influences in there. I’m really just digging deep."

Jonas' Nick Jonas, a coming-out of sorts for the former boy band member as a bona fide solo artist, spawned two big singles in "Jealous" and "Chains" last year. Meanwhile, "Levels" has peaked so far at No. 56 in the U.S.
