This year Clark, New Jersey was greeted with the first ever Food Truck & Rock Carnival, an all-ages fest dedicated to craft beer, artisan foods and rock 'n' roll. The lineup looked like something out of vintage alt-rock radio: Where else could you see GodsmackAnthraxThree Days Grace and Slash in the same park?

It made for a democratic feel—if you're a fan heavy riffs, there was something for you. Of the sets on Day One, we found ourselves most enthralled by the post-grunge sounds of Puddle Of Mudd. If the world continues to be preoccupied by '90s nostalgia, they may find themselves part of a late-set revival.

Their entrance music was the equally-as-nostalgic feeling "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" from the Disney version of the The Wizard of Oz, a strange juxtaposition before launching into their Nirvana-fueled set. It wasn't inventive by any means, but it was entertaining...and that's why we're all here right?

They ended with "She Hates Me," notably skipping the hit "Blurry." Maybe it was a statement. We'll have to wait until next year to know for sure.
