When we last caught up with PVRIS frontwoman Lynn Gunn, we were on the road at the 2015 Warped Tour and discussed everything from going to Disneyland with fans to dismissing sexual harassers at gigs. It's 2015, but there's definitely no shortage of shitty dudes on this planet.

Gunn is one of the more dynamic front-persons we've seen in a minute, so when Alternative Press pointed out some really wonderful things she said about her sexuality to BBC’s Newsbeat, we paid attention.

She told the publication, "I used to want to be private about it. But I think it's something that needs to be shared publicly." She then added:

"I think a lot of people are trying to accept themselves and come to terms with it because it's still a pretty big thing right now. I never had someone to look up to and be like 'oh that person is OK and they're gay.’ If I can be that for someone then it's why I'm open about it.”
