You can stop pinching yourself: it seems as if Adele's new album really, truly is around the corner. Days after a song snippet premiered during a mysterious commercial on the U.K. X Factor, the singer has posted a note on Twitter describing the album, which appears to indeed be titled 25.

"My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record," Adele writes. "I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. But I haven't got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to. What's done is done."

She ends the note with, "25 is about getting to know who I've become without realising. And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened. Love, Adele"

The follow-up to 2011's blockbuster-selling 21 album still does not have a release date, but is rumored to be arriving in late November, following a single release in the coming weeks. Tobias Jesso Jr., Max Martin and Ryan Tedder are all attached to the closely guarded new project.

While awaiting new Adele music, listen to "Alive,"  Sia's new single co-written by Adele.
