From their early starts as Disney kids to the confident pop stars they are today, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas have given fans the opportunity to watch them evolve and reinvent themselves in the spotlight. Now, they'll get to see that evolution culminate with a new joint tour.

The duo announced their massive Future Now: The Tour trek on Good Morning America earlier today. The outing starts next summer and will continue across North America through the fall. 

Jonas gave some insight to why it was time for the pair—who launched their own Safehouse Records label in May—to head on the road together, saying: 

"Demi and I, we're business partners, obviously have a long history of being friends. But the key for us was about living in this moment. Taking a step out individually over the last year and a half, two years, growing with our fans, and saying if there's ever a time to do it, it's now, to come together and do this tour."

Demi added, "The most important thing is taking the show on the road and getting to share this experience with all the fans that have supported this music for the past couple of years."
