The Fast & Furious franchise has been set in California (or outside of the United States) for too long. Let's be honest! It's time New York City got in on the action. Good bye west coast, hello best coast!

Vin Diesel let it spill on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night that the next installment, Fast & Furious 8, will take place in NYC. Thank goodness!

He told the late-night host:

"The first movie came from a Vibe article that was about street races in NY. The director and producer at the time reset the whole movie in LA. But the Vibe article that the whole franchise was started from originated in NY. So we're finally bringing it back home, baby!"

We're game! Does this mean they're hitting the mean streets of Brooklyn and Queens? Will they be racing against gentrification? There's not a lot of room for you in Manhattan, V-Dog.
